CONSERVATION
Organization and arrangement of the linen are not less important than washing or ironing, especially in order not to make useless the work already done! It would be a good solution to divide the spaces intended for the storage of your linen, distinguishing among the underwear, the linen for bed, for table, bath and kitchen, to make easier the research. It's also advisable to separate the items more frequently used from those which are intended to special occasions. To protect from dust and yellowing the items used less frequently, it may be useful to wrap them in tissue paper or still better put them in a bag of linen or cotton, because that allows a better breathability. If you like, closets for linen and shelves can be re-covered with paper, better if washable, so that cleaning may be easier. It would be better to fix this cover, which can also be of cloth, to the shelf and closet, in order to extract the linens more easily If you wish, it may be a good idea perfuming the spaces dedicated to household linen. Obviously the perfume can't directly be utilized, because it might stain the linen stored Much better using sachets containing pout pourri of dried flowers, spices and herbs, or scented wood or even air-freshener for small environments. Lavender, chamomile and rose are the most suitable for underwear, for bed and bath linen, but for the table linen, it would be preferable a mixture of citrus or cinnamon.
